Nickerson can assist you with screws and barrels from as small as 18mm diameter upto and in excess of 170mm. We can manufacture new nitrided or high wear bimetallic units to suit the materials you are processing, we can also refurbish screws and barrels of which not only reduces leadtime but can become a very cost effective way of getting your machine back up and running. We have common sizes of bimetallic barrel blanks on the shelf which basically allows us to manufacture a new bimetallic barrel within 7-10 days. It also takes Nickerson 7-10 days to refurb a standard screw. So in some instances we can supply a new bimetallic barrel and refurbish your screw withing 10 days!!
